The YP Committee of SPE Section 104 presents the Microsoft Excel Clinic for Industry Professionals and Students. An interactive forum targeted at enhancing the use of Microsoft Excel to solve engineering problems.
It will hold two weekends in a month for 3 months starting this Saturday 1st September 2012. (See attached flyer for details).
The topics to be covered during these clinic sessions include:
• Excel basics and Plots
• V-lookup and H-lookup
• Pivot tables
• Text manipulation
• Solving simplex equations (using Solver and other add ins)
• Excel Macros and Visual Basic
• External links and databases
Each topic will be addressed from the view point of solving common industry related problems. Classroom exercises will be provided and solved during the sessions.
