Microsoft Excel Clinc - Session 1 Holds

This was the first in a series of clinc style workshops for students and industry professionals.

Hamzat Kassim (YP Chairman Section 104) delivered the opening remarks followed by a brief overview of Microsoft excel and basic functions.

This was followed by a module on plots delivered by Victor Olatope. The module invloved exercies that allowed the participants interact with pracitcally every component of excel plots. Special plots which are not available by default in MS Excel like the waterfall chart and multiple variable (greater than 3) plots were also covered.

A total of 30 participants were in attendance and this included students, industry members and faculty.

AMBASSADORIAL/MAIDEN lecture - Federal University of Petroleum Resources

Shell GM Development Host SPE Section 104

On the 18th of July 2012, the General Manager Development of Shell Companies in Nigeria hosted SPE Warri Section. The theme was "Taking the section to greater heights."

Students, faculty and members of industry were all in attendance and everyone had an opportunity to share ideas on how the activites of the section can be improved.
